Please note - this plan is for either the 100 gallon Rubbermaid Stock Tank or the 150 gallon Rubbermaid Stock Tank (I got mine at Tractor Supply).

This is the step-by-step plan to build a frame for your tank that includes a mechanical area designed for a Penguin 1/2 HP HE Chiller, Pump, Ozone & Filtration System. Make sure to check measurements of your equipment before starting your build.

**I do have a full step-by-step tutorial on YouTube for this framing project**

My YouTube Channel will be a great resource in addition to this PDF. Make sure to follow me there, on TikTok & Instagram - @DIYCOLDPLUNGE

I would also recommend joining my private group on Facebook, we have thousands of people learning and experimenting with different set-ups.

Wonderful starting point!!

This is a great starting point! I will have to make some minor modifications for plumbing and to finish the build how I want to for my space, but otherwise the framing plans worked perfectly with the 150 gallon stock tank. So helpful!!

GREAT FOR AVG DIY SKILLZ

So I'm not the average DIY guy, namely I have a large set of tools but......
These Plans can be done with an extremely small set of tools.
I would however recommend buying a pocket hole jig (harbor freight drill master $60)

My proper blog post will be coming soon! I've been using my setup for two weeks.

Main components:
150Gal Rubbermaid $200
Vevor 1/3Hp chiller $220 (sale)
150Gal plan DIY $can't remember

I've still got some small quality of life improvements to do like the trim and installing an ozone injector.

The vevor 1/3 works amazingly and I'm SUPER GLAD I didn't buy the other one ($600 more). I got the extended warranty for $80 on Amazon but I think its gonna be just fine for a few years.

Proper blog photos and videos to come, did a hinged lid like another gentleman did.
