Sauna Backrest Plan

This backrest was simple! It is literally as easy as Joe makes it look in the build video.

I was pretty thrilled when Joe came out with a plan for a backrest. I've been shopping around for one, and so many of the reviews on the ones you order say that they don't know if they're real cedar or just pine. This was cheap and easy, and I know it's really cedar. I think it took me about an hour to make it. Another DIY win!

The backrest plan was super simple to follow AND it used leftover materials from the DIY Sauna build! All I had to buy was a cedar fence picket. Definitely helps to maximize your sauna experience by allowing more coverage to your back. All other similar options I found online were at least twice the price it cost me to build my own.
