Great product, make sure you follow the instructions. Joe is very helpful and communicates well.
The plans were easy to follow, along with the video. Cut list was accurate. Saving me thousands! Worth it!
One thing I would recommend to all is follow rhe plan in the order Joe created the video etc. it will save you time. I was impatient and wanted to use it asap. So I put doors on without trim, and paint. Just be patient and do all the steps in order. They’re in the order for a reason.
I have ordered multiple sets of the ozone tubing and check valves. They deteriorate within months. The tubing is clearly not a high quality ozone rated product. I have also purchased a few of the ozone generators. They are good at producing ozone. It would be great if the tubing was made of tygon or a similar rated material.
I recently finished my sauna build and needless to say I am so happy with the finished product! This was my first DIY build of any kind so I was a bit intimidated going in, but the plans and videos were extremely easy to follow, and Joe was always responsive via email with any questions I had.
Overall it took me three weekends to build an XL sauna with a window and that is as a novice builder with only some minor hiccups here and there
This is literally a few pieces of metal and loose wires. comes as a bunch of pieces. there is no instructions. the video in the $90 sauna build plans (lol) has a video with a link that no longer works. guess i'll just stare at it until it puts itself together. and...No smart plug...FAIL
Great plans very easy to follow. If you’re into sauna, I highly recommend it.
Joe's plans are detailed and straight forward. No guessing. I just did my first session and now I'm hooked. If you can cut a piece of wood, you can build this things. Thanks Joe!

Joe did a fantastic job at making these plans. The whole plan was easy to follow with great details through out. No stone left unturned. I made some slight changes just because I can’t leave well enough alone, but man what a joy to see this come to life. Excited to put it to good use.

I have health issues and wanted an upright sauna with bench. My husband is very handy, but has never built a sauna. Even though we went way off script, the info, tips, product links, and videos included in the plans are very valuable!
All parts and clear instructions to build a heater for your sauna project. Bulb options clearly explained. The cord is plenty long to allow me to place my sauna where I want. Time to get sweaty!
I purchased this heater alongside the sauna plans and they both were fantastic to work with. The plans were super easy to follow and the accompanying videos made it fool proof. I’d recommend this kit and those plans to anyone who wants a weekend project that creates dividends for their health once it’s done.
Simple to set up, heats really well. Winter in Utah with about a 30-40° ambient temp heard up to 180 in under an hour on the XL build!
This was a quick fun side project after the sauna build. I used an extra 5/4 board and 2 cedar fence posts. It makes the sauna more comfortable.
I was very happy with the online and pdf instructions for building this sauna. There were links to everything I needed. The build went smoothly and the sauna turned out better than I thought it would. I really enjoyed this project! I bought the DIY heater works fantastic! Even made the cedar backrest, it is a must IMOP.
Built this sauna and have been enjoying it daily for weeks now. No complaints and loved the process of building it my self.
