Bought Joe’s sauna plans and the heater. Plans for the sauna were super detailed and easy to follow, shopping list and cut plans made things go fast. Highly recommend.
Another easy and fun build from Joe. I purchased his cold plunge plans in the Spring and love that thing, I use it every morning. I’m excited to have a sauna now to do contrast therapy. I am NOT a carpenter, but it was just as easy to build as the plunge. His videos answer most questions you may have, and he will reply to any emails quickly in case you have more questions. Thanks Joe, you’re keeping me in the game!
I have a feeling my sauna session la will hit SO much deeper with the connection I have to building this myself! Joe makes it very simple, with redundancy of manuals, pictures, videos, and even email support! If you are on the fence…trust me YOU can build this and won’t get frustrated with the way the instructions are put together!

I put this together over the Christmas break. My only suggestion would be take the purchase list to a legit lumber yard instead of Home Depot. It will cost you a bit more but the materials are much higher quality and makes the assembly so much smoother!
My wife said it was one of the best Christmas gifts ever. I waited a little over a week to try it out and make sure I gave an honest review. Put short, we couldn’t be happier. Joe’s plans were simple, easy to read (my 8 year did most of the build with me), and fun. We have both used it every day since I completed and are stoked to have it as part of our home gym.
I put this together in about an hour. Mounted it in about 20 mins. It does the trick and worth every dollar. Super impressed by Joe and his plans!

I recently built my own sauna using these DIY plans and the matching heater kit, and I’m really impressed with both.

For a beginner DIY person this plan was the best. Between the downloaded PDF with links and the YouTube videos with step by step tutorial help me accomplish this with confidence. I bought the DIY Sauna plans and sauna heater. I'm very slow at building. Took me around 4 days to get it all together. I love how it turned out! I had a couple of questions during the process and Joe always emailed back quickly. The plans and video are super easy to follow!

Just finished my DIY XL Sauna. It's working as designed & while the XL does take a bit of time to heat up (~90 min starting at 60 F w/ 250 W Feit bulbs) the sauna experience is fantastic. I added a window before that upgrade was documented. I used a 24" x 5" tempered glass shelf from amazon as the glass. The price was much less than a custom ordered piece. Thanks for all the work putting together the plans & the heater! I highly recommend them.

This thing is awesome ! Made a few personal mods but man, I’ve used this thing for 6 days straight. To be honest , only takes 50 min to get to a temp that I can tolerate for 20 min. Any hotter and it’s very uncomfortable. Instructions were SUPER clear and helpful. If you are thinking about do this, pull the trigger!
Very happy with my sauna works exactly as described. I reached out now a couple of times during the build process his response was second to none. In most cases he was back to me within hours. On top of the the video instruction he does is extremely well thought out not leaving out any detail. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone looking for a budget sauna that reaches high temps.
