Please note - this plan is for either the 100 gallon Rubbermaid Stock Tank or the 150 gallon Rubbermaid Stock Tank (I got mine at Tractor Supply).
This is the step-by-step plan to build a frame for your tank that includes a mechanical area designed for a Penguin 1/2 HP HE Chiller, Pump, Ozone & Filtration System. Make sure to check measurements of your equipment before starting your build.
**I do have a full step-by-step tutorial on YouTube for this framing project**

Rough Footprint:
Very satisfied with the plans for the cold plunge. I didn’t want to put much thought into designing an enclosure for the tub and these were perfect. Made some modifications as my chiller is a bit larger than the build specs but it worked great. It’s nice to go to the hardware store with a build list once then having to go back several times. Thanks, Joe!
Fit perfectly. Easy to build instructions. Love the design. I appreciate you taking the time to lay it all out.
Thanks for this design worked perfectly for the 150 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank.
Great build. Easy to follow and only needed a couple minor adjustments. I needed to cut out small portions of the top on the longer beams to make room for the stock tank to slide in. This is just the framing of the box itself, so you’ll need to figure out the siding/insulation yourself, but was easy enough with some basic know how. Fun to build, solid plans.

Great quality and direct fitment.
After experiencing absolutely horrendous customer service from The Plunge (@Plunge), I made the decision to take matters into my own hands and repair and replace the components on my cold plunge myself. My experience with The Plunge was so disappointing that I vowed never to purchase another product from them again!
That's when I found DIY Cold Plunge, and I couldn't be happier with my decision!
Joe at DIY Cold Plunge is the definition of exceptional customer service! From the very beginning, he was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping me get my cold plunge back up and running. He took the time to understand my specific setup, helped me identify exactly which replacement parts I needed, and recommended the right pump for my system.
What impressed me even more was the attention to detail. I asked Joe if he could have the parts delivered to my house on a specific day, and he made absolutely sure they arrived exactly when I needed them. That's the kind of customer service you rarely see anymore!
The quality of the parts, the detailed tutorials, the helpful information, and the overall experience with DIY Cold Plunge have been nothing short of TOP NOTCH!
The difference between my experiences with The Plunge and DIY Cold Plunge couldn't be more night and day. One company left me frustrated enough to swear off its products entirely, while the other went above and beyond to earn my trust and business.
If you own a cold plunge and need replacement parts, upgrades, or expert guidance, I cannot recommend DIY Cold Plunge and Joe enough!
Thank you, Joe, for proving that outstanding customer service still exists. You've earned a customer for life!
