What a fun build!! The plans made it a very easy build and I am very happy with the outcome. I did the chiller bypass since I live in the mountains of Idaho and will not need it this winter. Will most likely add it next summer. Joe was very quick to answer a question I had about cutting the slates My motto is I do my best and will chalk the rest.

Saves hours of trial and error

Followed the plan exactly and, other than one unrelated mishap with spilled PVC Cement, it all went according to plan. Everything appears to function flawlessly.

Good cover but.....

The cover is made very well and the quality it good. But be aware of one thing.

If you have not built a frame around the stock tank there is no place to secure the clips. If you use the supplied screws and screw them into the stock tank they will come out the other side.

I was not planning on building a frame around my tank. So I will have to come up with a way to secure the clips now.

It's not a perfect fit and it would fit much better if i could use the clips.

I wish DIY Cold Plunge would have disclosed this as I may not have bought it due to this problem.

However, it is made well and that is the only reason I plan on keeping it and come up with a way to secure it.
