"Plunge" Gen 1 Pump Replacement Kit

I have a Gen 1 cold plunge from Plunge for two years now. my pump has died TWICE. I went to plunge for a replacement and they no longer sold replacement parts for my pump. they only had a different pump that I would have to install with very vague instructions. I came across DIY Cold Plunge bundle. the instructions were very easy and straightforward. I am a level 0 when it comes to DIY projects, so the fact I was able to follow the video instructions says a lot on how easy it was to install Now I have a functioning tub again with a well-known pump. so far everything is working great. there is a lot of condensation on the tubing because I didn't wrap them but there are no leaks.

This kit saved a lot of my time, trying to buy parts and fittings from different places and having to figure out how to. Highly recommend.

I decided to go with this kit after the second water pump on my Plunge failed. My Plunge is still under warranty, but rather than replacing the pump with another one that might eventually fail again, I decided to upgrade to this kit instead.

The kit included everything I needed for the installation and Joe’s video instructions were easy to follow. I have zero plumbing experience and the installation was very manageable.

The Danner 1200 has been great so far and is actually quieter than the original Plunge pump, which was a nice surprise.

Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend this kit to anyone looking to replace or upgrade their original Plunge pump.
