Joe has done the homework and the legwork! Great videos and material list so almost anyone can have a great plunge for way less. His customer service is excellent!!
Joe's plans are thorough, easy to follow, and impossible to mess up. I'm so grateful for the time and effort he put into these because it gives you the satisfaction of doing something your self without all the extra trips to Home Depot and the headaches of trial and error. You can't go wrong purchasing these!
I’m not 💯 complete as you can see, but this was so easy to follow. Material lists were great and having video links were crucial. Looking to have tank rolling after this weekend!!! Thanks Joe
I used Joe’s Full Start-to-Finish Plan for a 150 gallon Stock Tank Cold Plunge. I had used the stand alone stock tank for about 3 months with just an insulated cover. Being in Alaska cold water is not a problem. I filled the tank with 44f well water and over the 3 months (March - May) the water only gained ten degrees. In late May after gathering the supplies I drained it and started in on the project. It took me a little over a week of working evenings and a weekend. I plan to run my plunge year round and do not plan to need a chiller. First and foremost - Joe is meticulous with his plans. The measurements, the images, the videos and the shopping lists - all of it First Rate!!!! I made some adaptions based on availability of supplies and my over all plan but I could not find a more complete plan. A few adaptions that I made. I used 1 1/2” rigid foam vs 1” because that is what was available. It fit no problem. I used cedar fence boards on the sides and cedar deck boards for the oval. I was able to tuck all the plumbing inside and insulate the mechanical surround. For winter I plan to install a thermostat and heat tape to keep the plumbing from freezing. Here is to Hot Tub'n and Cold Plung'n!!!! I highly recommend Joe’s Full Start-to-Finish plan!
